Tip for Neck Pain

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on November 11, 2009 by myomegapain

Before you spend hundreds of dollars on chiropractic pillows, consider this easy trick recommended to me by a physical therapist. Roll up a bath towel evenly so that the width of the towel is close to the width of your shoulders. (To see a visual scroll down and watch the video) Slip it into  your pillow case  lengthwise so that the towel is at the base of your neck when you lay flat on it. As you can see from the diagram below, your neck requires extra support, or else you will be spending an average of 8 hours a night straining your muscles.

For detailed instructions on how to roll up the towel so that it is most comfortable, watch this video on Youtube.

This can be tucked beneath your neck instead of a pillow, or placed inside your pillowcase for additional support. For fast relief for neck pain try MyOmega Triple Strength Pain Relief Rub.

For back pain and hard-to-reach areas we recommend MyOmega Targeted Pain Relief Spray.

Get Fit with MyOmega™!

Ahhhhh, yes. The clouds are parting, the temperatures are rising, and the days are growing longer. This can only mean one thing… Bathing suit season is on its way. So just how are you supposed to get a beach-ready body after a sluggish, sedentary winter? Ease into it. Here are some tips on how to get the most out of your workout.

Beach-Ready?

Beach-Ready?

1. Exercise regularly, but remember to GRADUALLY increase the difficulty of your routine. If you have a low activity level, start with 1-3 times a week. If you have a a moderate activity level, try kicking it up to 3-5 days a week. Most importantly, don’t overdo it. So many injuries can be avoided if we just listen to our bodies. While the inviting Spring weather may be beckoning you to run more miles than your body is accustomed to, you run the risk of stress fractures, pulled muscles and tendinitis, which can set you back to square one.

2. For most of us, exercise is just not enough. If you’re not willing to give up your favorite foods, here’s an easy way to cut down on calories without too much suffering. Watch your portions. This seems obvious, but most of the time we eat far more than our body actually requires. That’s because your brain does not register that you are “full” until 10 minutes after you have already exceeded your limit. Try taking a 10 minute break halfway between eating to see if you are still hungry. Don’t torture yourself by staring at your plate the whole time. Take this time to tidy up your kitchen, do some reading or call up a friend. It will occupy your mind and before you know it, your 10 minutes will be up. If you are still hungry after this time, eat a little more, and take another break. You’d be surprised on how easily you can satisfy your appetite with a little patience (and distraction).

3. Once you feel it’s time to bump up your mileage or add more weight to your routine, prepare for the inevitable muscle soreness and tightness. For some of us it can be unbearable, and we end up having to take such long breaks that we eventually plateau. The best way to help manage the normal pain that accompanies exercise is to try a topical analgesic like MyOmega™ Targeted Pain Relief Spray. This powerful, cooling formula relieves the pain associated with strains, sprains, muscle aches, cramps and tension. Simply spray directly onto painful areas for an invigorating burst of pain relief and you may just find yourself finishing that extra mile, swimming that extra lap, biking that extra stretch, or increasing your reps without the overwhelming obstacle of common soreness. As long as you remember to stay within your bodies realistic boundaries, MyOmega™ may just become your favorite new exercise companion

* Remember to consult with your doctor before starting a workout routine. Always make sure muscles are fully warmed up before starting any exercise. If any exercise causes pain or weakness at any stage during a workout then stop immediately.

Advice For Those with Knee Pain

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on March 10, 2009 by myomegapain

Thank you all for your feedback! Not all of our testimonials come to us through our blog. Anthony Cherubino of Delray Beach, FL was kind enough to send us this letter:

March 1st, 2009

To those people who have had the same trouble with their knees that I have:

I went to my orthopedist with pain in my knee, he examined it and said I should have an arthroscopic surgery. I did this and after a year, having the repeated pain, he said the only thing that could help would be a knee replacement. I was very upset at what he said and told him I would wait.

I looked all over and came across the medication called MyOmega Omega 3+ Heat Therapy Cream. With God’s help and my using this 2 to 3 times a day, my pain has almost gone away. I can walk very well without a cane, and even dance a little.

I hope this letter may help others who have and still go through what I did.

Sincerely,

Anthony Cherubino

Thank you Anthony, and thanks to everyone who has shared their MyOmega success stories with us.

If you purchased MyOmega™ and are looking for more information, you’ve come to the right place! We want you to feel satisfied with MyOmega™. We welcome all questions and feedback you may have. Simply leave a comment and we will gladly answer any questions you have.
Q: Why should I take MyOmega™ Advanced Joint Therapy Supplement ?

A.:Pain starts from within. MyOmega™ helps you target that pain from the inside out. MyOmega™ Advanced Joint Therapy jump starts your recovery by targeting sore joints and the pain associated with arthritis. Using this supplement will help prevent the pain associated with stiff joints by nourishing, rebuilding and boosting the cartilage between your joints so you can move more freely and comfortably.
Q: How should I use MyOmega™ Advanced Joint Therapy Supplement?

A: Take two tablets daily as a dietary supplement. For best results take one with breakfast and one with supper.

INSIDER TIP: I If a more accelerated joint lubrication program is desired, take 4 tablets daily for the first week; 2 with breakfast, and 2 with supper. After the first week, take 2 tablets daily.
Q: When should I use MyOmega™ Heat Therapy Cream?

A: Use MyOmega™ Heat Therapy Cream to ease backaches, muscle aches, strains, sprains, tension, and the pain associated with arthritis. The deep, penetrating warmth of this fast-acting formula targets pain directly and “massages” away your aches and pains. When used regularly, it actually becomes more and more effective. That’s because the key ingredient in MyOmega™ Heat Therapy Cream, Capsaicin, has been scientifically proven to deplete the “pain” chemical in your body when used regularly. The more you use it, the better you will feel! Experience fast, long-lasting relief as timed-release Ice Pearls™ soothe away your pain for up to 6 hours.

Q: What are IcePearls™?

A: IcePearls™ is the secret behind MyOmega™’s long-lasting power. IcePearls™ uses timed-released nanospheres to provide sustained, long lasting relief. Each nanosphere contains soothing, cooling ingredients. Rubbing the cream onto the skin triggers the release of the nanospheres, which deliver continual soothing relief for up to 6 hours. IcePearls™ are used in all topical MyOmega™ pain relievers.

Q: How do I use MyOmega™ Heat Therapy Cream?

A: Rotate the pump’s spout counter-clockwise slightly to unlock; turn clockwise to lock. Apply liberally to affected area no more than 4 times daily. Gently massage into targeted area until completely absorbed. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water to avoid contact with mucous membranes.

Q: When should I use MyOmega™ Heat Therapy Cream?

A: This formula is best used at night, or when you plan on having a low to moderate activity level. Because some people are sensitive to Capsaicin, we recommend avoiding exercising or showering during the 6 hours following application.

Q: Is it normal to feel a strong heating sensation?

A: Some people may feel discomfort when they first use Capsaicin, the active ingredient in MyOmega™ Heat Therapy Cream. If you experience discomfort, do not panic. The heating sensation is a result of enhanced bloodflow. It will not hurt you. If you are especially sensitive, the best way to quell any discomfort that may occur is to wipe the area with cooking oil using a soft towel. Over time, your body will get used to Capsaicin, just like your body gets used to spicy foods over time.

Q. When should I use MyOmega™ Targeted Relief Spray ?
A. Use MyOmega™ Targeted Relief Spray when you want fast, targeted, cooling relief. We recommend using this spray for hard-to-reach areas like back, legs, and feet. Not only is it convenient and portable, but it features timed-release IcePearls™ for a sustained cooling sensation that lasts up to 6 hours. No more worrying about constant reapplication.

Q. How do I use MyOmega™ Targeted Relief Spray?
A. Prime sprayer before the first use. Squeeze pump away from face until liquid dispenses. Spray liberally to affected area not more than 4 times daily. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water to avoid contact with mucous membranes.

INSIDER TIP: We recommend this formula for daytime use. It makes an excellent exercise companion and is easy to use and convenient to carry. The sprayer can dispense at a 180˚ angle so you can even use it upside down, though you may need to reprime it periodically.
